Roads

When Lance Pruitt entered office, East Anchorage roads had been neglected. Roads that were not built correctly when originally built, had deteriorated to a state of incredible disrepair.

* Lance made East Anchorage roads one of his top funding priorities, and over the last four years with your help more has been done to improve East Anchorage roads and drainage than in all of the past 30 years combined.

* While many roads have been improved, there are others now scheduled for improvement because of funding that has been secured to make those improvements possible thanks to Lance. Roads like Baxter, E 17th Ave, Hampton, the Regal Mountain area and many others are fully funded thanks to Lance and slated for construction soon.

* Many projects were not even on the table until Lance made them an issue. Projects like the Muldoon Glen Highway overpass, Campbell Airstrip Road, and Pleasant Valley between 32nd and 36th Ave, while not fully funded, are examples of projects that are only moving forward due to Lance's work in bringing them to the forefront, as well as the funding he was able to secure.

* These as well as other road projects will continue to be a high priority for the allocation of capital dollars into the future.

Roads in East Anchorage have been in a dramatic state of disrepair, but thanks to the priority Lance has placed on roads East Anchorage is improving. Lance will work to continue that effort to improve East Anchorage roads.
